Stunning gardens, luxurious spa and good food make for a memorable stay. the rooms are comfortable and come equipped with plenty of amenities. the onsen is a definite highlight, particularly the outdoor one. the free shuttle bus from the station is very handy.

Some areas of the hotel could use an update, such as the furniture and flooring.

We had an amazing stay at a traditional Japanese hotel. The garden was gorgeous in all seasons, and the carp fish in the pond were a treat for children. The hotel provided all toiletries. Our room had a private onsen and a garden view. The futons were comfortable, and the heating system was good. The staff was attentive, and the meals were delicious. The communal onsen was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The Japanese room we stayed in was not only beautiful, but also very comfortable. Surrounded by a gorgeous garden, complete with ponds and waterfalls, it felt like a tranquil oasis. We even had the opportunity to feed the koi fish, which was a delight. One of the highlights of our stay was the 24-hour onsen, which allowed us to have a fantastic midnight bath. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. Additionally, the dinner served was of high quality, satisfying our taste buds and leaving us truly impressed.

The garden and onsen were the highlights of our stay, the snow-covered garden was stunning and the onsen was relaxing. The location was ideal, close to local attractions and transportation. The kaiseki dinner was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese experience.

The map of the building was confusing and it was easy to get lost trying to find our way around. The decor was a bit outdated, but it added to the charm of the hotel.
